“Buzz or Howl Under the Influence of Heat” is the sixth overall release (fourth extended play, or EP, release and their first 12-inch EP) from American hardcore punk band Minutemen. It was released by SST Records in 1983. It is noted for featuring tracks with greater depth and a more conventional song structure on than the band’s previous releases. While still very punk, this shows the band turning toward catchier and more memorable songwriting. Contains hits like “I Felt Like a Gringo” and “Little Man With a Gun in His Hand.”
