Live Low – Toada – LP

“Toada” is the first longplay release and the ID card for the portuguese group Live Low. The quartet formed by Pedro Augusto, Miguel Ramos, Ece Canli and Gonçalo Duarte uses the rhythmic labour pace and a wide portuguese traditional songbook as a start, and reinterprets it in new electronic textures and complex compositions. Live Low breaks the strings of labour and searches for the enchanting caracterystics of its rhythm, while modernizing folk music and its escapist possibilities.
