Leviatã
HOMO‘s release, “Pearl Harvest At Sun Source“, comprises two separate albums:
Disc 1, “Pearl Harvest”, collects eight songs whose common theme is the transmutation of autobiographical events into a personal mythology, anchored in the act of sacrifice in its etymological root: “sacer facere”, “to make sacred”. Obliquely narrative pearls harvested from the sea of the subconscious.
Disc 2, “Sun Source”, addresses HOMO‘s love of Japanese music, from classical Gagaku to contemporary noise and psychedelia; i imagined myself as a culturally challenged Japanese musician, trying to create within a simultaneously alien and native culture.
Leviatã‘s issue is housed in a gatefold sleeve, including an origami lyric sheet.
