DJ Pierre – Acid Love – 12″

The legendary DJ Pierre, godfather of acid house and all round Chicago legend returns with “Acid Love” the lead single from his debut album ‘Wild Pitch: The Story’ for Berlin’s Get Physical.

Let’s not ignore the obvious here: yes it is a cover version of Donna Summer’s disco anthem “I Feel Love” and it’s an absolutely rip-roaring rendition too, we must say! Featuring the same (if not similar) ‘Moroderesque’ arpeggios, layered with similar 303 styled ones (naturally), some epic vocals (but certainly not Ms. Summers’ rather one Chic Loren) and even some rock guitar solos!
