Circle – Guillotine – 2LP

“Guillotine” is the fourteenth album by the Finnish experimental rock band Circle.

First released on CD in 2003 by Ektro Records, it is now re-issued by Full Contact. It was the first album with the four-piece line-up which has formed the core of the band on every release since, although the co-producer Aki Peltonen plays guitar on “Salar Opi”. Although the band’s trademark repetition features heavily on the longer tracks, some abstract components are displayed in the shorter pieces.

All in all, a very welcomed comeback!
