Jonny Trunk says: “When people ask me what music I issue on the label, I normally say something like, “you know, sort of funny old shit”. So when the idea of starting a series of very inexpensive samplers came along I thought I’d call them just that. This is Volume 1, I have several people queuing up to contribute to further volumes. Once I came up with the title it took about five minutes to put it together. This may sound quick and rushes but several years of experience with these sounds make it that straightforward. In short it’s a rum old mixture of the fabulous, the fabulously strange and the fabulously terrible. From twitch classical to post punk, with film music and novelties on the way. Nothing rude this time mind.”
