Montes – Vozes Antenas Fragas – CD

Coming from different parts of South America, Arianna Casellas & Kauê Gindri met for a long time in Porto, but it was in 2020 that they joined as a duo. They live and play together on the 6th floor of a building in the center of Invicta, where Montes‘ debut album was born. The view of the mountains on the horizon gave rise to the project’s name, which is a metaphor for the place one pursues, traversing the impurities, the noises on the way, to reach peace.

Like the project, their debut album, released by Lovers & Lollypops, “Vozes Antenas Fragas“, conveys a sense of going and has the strong presence of an insistent duality: chaos and calm, interior and exterior, far and near, confusion and song.
