Warp unveils the second instalment of the Cargaa series in collaboration with the Príncipe label in Portugal. The inimitable sound of Lisbon’s club culture shows that it still deserves the spotlight with frenetic and irresistible offerings from artists like DJ Firmeza and Nídia Minaj providing the kind of carnival/ club hybrid that can’t be found anywhere else on the planet. A more stripped-back minimalist approach to the sound comes forward from Puto Anderson while Alto Nível Produções provide a richer atmospheric interpretation of the style.

As the penultimate chapter of the trilogy, Warp proves that the story is far from finished.
